Lines Forming At Gas Stations Across Florida As Hurricane Nears

I experienced a bit of this over the last two days, as I pull into gas stations, only to see the familiar bags over the nozzles, indicating that the pump is out of gas. We encountered lines at a few stations, and many people are filling up portable gas canisters. That gave us the idea to go home and grab ours. We don't have a generator, but we figured we could pour it into our cars in a pinch if need be.

CBS12: Hurricane Dorian has South Florida in the crosshairs for a possible landfall on Labor Day. In what's generally a busy travel weekend, many are making the quick trip to the nearest gas station. The trip is turning into a scavenger hunt for some as stations run out of gas. In West Palm Beach, you can check the city's website to see which stations have gas.
