Vandals Caught On Camera Defacing Sandi Tree In West Palm Beach

Despite the posted signs warning "No Trespassing" and "Surveillance", vandals defaced the 500 ton Sandi tree in West Palm Beach on Thanksgiving, writing on it, and walking up the side. The tree is a tradition along the waterfront, and attracts many people who come to see this wonderful sand sculpture.

The vandals made a mess of the 35-foot tall holiday tree, causing about $1000 worth of damage. Anyone with information is being asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-458-TIPS. You will remain anonymous and could receive a cash reward if your tip leads to an arrest.
