"Iron Man 3" is expected to make another $70-something million dollars this weekend, but Leo Dicaprio's latest film could steal a bit of its thunder. Another light release weekend at the movies. Hap Erstein with PalmBeachArtsPaper.com gives us his reviews.
"The Great Gatsby" - Leonardo Dicaprio and Toby Maguire star in the latest film adaptation of the F. Scott Fitzgerald novel. Hap's not a fan.
"Peeples" - An urban comedy starring Craig Robinson as a man eager to propose to his girlfriend, and tries to win the favor of her father, played by an aged David Alan Grier, from the old tv variety show "In Living Color".
"The Angel's Share" - A British film about a small time hood, who comes up with a scheme to outsmart the scotch experts.
Hap's Art House Pick of the Week
"In the House" - A French film about a disallusioned high school literature teacher.
If you have children, an event is going on in Boca Raton this weekend that you may want to check out.
It's the first annual Safe Kids Day, from the non-profit agency Safe Kids Palm Beach County. We spoke with the group's Program Director, Kelly Powell, who tells us more about the event.
She says it will showcase "everything that we do, so being safe in and around, in and around water, just in your community basically."
