Pet Of The Week: "Sugar" The Cat
ADOPTED!!

Sugar, is a 10 year old gray and white declawed male cat.  Sugar came to Safe Harbor after being hit by a car in WPB, and a witness scooped him up and brought him in for medical care.

The good Samaritan was not able to keep or care for the injured cat, so Safe Harbor opened it's doors to give Sugar a second chance at life.  Although he had a microchip and was licensed with the county, all known contact info on his owner was no longer valid, the owner was never located.

Surprisingly, with such a traumatic accident, Sugar had NO major injuries or broken bones,  other than some trauma to his spine.  At first, Sugar could not stand or walk, but he always had love in his eyes, and a kind soul.  After several weeks in a foster home, Sugar is up, walking, and using the litter box, once again!

He is fine with other cats, but will be great as an only pet, too.  Sugar is declawed and cannot jump, so you need not worry about your furniture getting scratched!  He will be a great companion pet and will not leave your side.  He's been tested, vaccinated, neutered, micro-chipped and ready for a forever home.  Sugar is available for adoption through Safe Harbor, for more information on Sugar, pleae call Paula at 561.386.6595 or go to Safe Harbor’s web site: http://www.safeharbor.jupiterdaily.com/
