Ranger: A Young Blood Hound Dog ADOPTED!
Take this lone Ranger home with you today!

Ranger, is a young Blood Hound dog.  He a rescued in western Palm Beach County when a man & his son were hunting, an almost shot Ranger!  The very thin, young dog was friendly and had no collar, tag or micro-chip.  The stray was taken to Safe Harbor.

After no one ever claimed him, Ranger was found to be heartworm positive. Unlike many area shelters, Safe Harbor treats conditions like heartworm, then, once the animal is healthy, they are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and placed up for adoption where they can find a forever home.

Ranger is very friendly with people, an gets along with many dogs, and doesn't mind  cats. Ranger loves car rides, toys and will do well in obedience classes, or even as a tracking dog.
This week’s pet is available for adoption through Safe Harbor, for more information please call Paula at 561.386.6595  or go to Safe Harbor’s web site: http://www.safeharbor.jupiterdaily.com/
