Dakota is a 10 month old Yellow Lab/Shepherd Mix who is happy and playful.
Dakota came to Safe Harbor surrendered by his owner with a broken leg. His owner could not afford his care. Dakota received all the medical care he needed for his leg, which has since fully healed.

Dakota has also been tested, vaccinated, neutered and micro-chipped. Dakota is a very happy, playful love filled boy. He will shine in basic obedience classes, like those taught at Safe Harbor.
Dakota's FURever home would include active adults and possible older children who can help Dakota expend his excess puppy energy. A fenced in yard is top on Dakota's Christmas List. Dakota REALLY does not like being in a shelter environment. Please consider this lovely companion pet as a furever family addition or, possibly giving him a "Home for the Holidays".
