Pet Of The Week -  Paris

Paris is a 6 month old beautiful Balck and White Shih Tzu puppy. She came to Safe Harbor in February, 2011 following a car accident that broke her leg. Her owner could not afford the expensive medical care required, and surrendered Paris to Safe Harbor so she could get the life saving surgery she needed. Today, Paris bounces around on three healthy legs, as if nothing ever happened! She has such a sweet, gentle nature, and loves attention.  A few of Paris' favorite things include, lounging on her princess bed, or enjoying a stroll in a puppy stroller or purse! If you are looking for a canine shopping companion, Paris is your girl!  She is a great lap pooch, and will share the scene with another small dog, and possibly a cat.  Paris has been tested, vaccinated, spayed and micro-chipped.

She is available for adoption through Safe Harbor.  For more info on Paris, please call Paula at 561.386.6595 or visit

Safe Harbor & Lady need your HELP!

Lady’s
day began as most others before it; tied outside to her doghouse in the broiling Florida heat.
Lady had climbed up onto the roof of her doghouse.  When she jumped back down though she landed wrong and fractured both of her thin and delicate front legs.
Underweight, dirty, and crawling with literally hundreds of fleas, Lady immediately began receiving treatment.  With two broken front legs, Lady must have been in terrible pain, but she was sweet and gentle with the medical staff
However, in order for her to heal properly and walk again, Lady will need the services of an orthopedic surgeon.  It is estimated that this surgery will cost approximately $1,500 - $2,000Safe Harbor and Lady desperately need donations to pay for this surgery.
Please help Lady by making a tax deductible donation to Safe Harbor.  For further information, please contact Linda Kender at (561) 747-1598 Ext. 5.
