Dry Rubbed Baby Back Ribs
Real Simple Magazine
Serves 4
INGREDIENTS:
4 cloves chopped garlic
2 TBS brown sugar
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
2 tsp salt
3/4 tsp pepper
3 pounds baby back ribs
DIRECTIONS:
In a small bowl combine all ingredients except ribs. Rub the spices into the ribs. Let sit in refrigerator for 10 to 30 minuted so rub can set in. Grill over medium heat turning occasionally for 20 to 30 minutes.
SALLY'S NOTES:
I've never made ribs before and I wan nervous. I usually think of lots of BBQ sauce when I think of ribs, not a rub. These turned out so well even Mo was surprised! We just loved them and I could not get over how easy they were to make. The original directions said to grill 25 to 30 minutes but our's were perfectly done in 20. If you not sure, cut a rib off and taste it! You can always throw it back on the grill. I also saw a segment on the Food Network on grilling. They said you can easily remove the tissue from the back of the ribs with a butter knife, something I did not do.
