Photo of my new living room.

My mom came into town and helped me get my new condo ready to live in.   Since I just spend over a thousand dollars painting and patching my walls I was leery of hanging photos.  The last time I did it I put a ton of holes in my walls.

Here’s what mom taught me.

Tools:

Level, Butcher Paper, Marker, Ruler/Measuring Tape, Painters Tape, Nails & Hammer.

1)     Lay the butcher paper (or large wrapping paper) on the floor.

2)     Arrange the objects you wanna’ hang on the paper.

3)     Use the level to make sure your project is balanced.  (TIP: I used the width of the level to space out each frame).

4)     Trace around each object (frame, etc…).

5)     Measure how far down the hook is on the back of your object.

6)     Now mark that spot/length on the butcher paper.

7)     Tape the butcher paper up on the wall.

8)     Now hammer nails in the spaces you marked.

9)     Remove the butcher paper and hang your objects.
