Tim Byrd

Tim was 15 when he "finally" got his first break in the broadcasting/entertainment business. Tim's dream was always to reach the pinnacle of the business that he grew up loving. He has met and exceeded his goals in radio. The first stops included tours of duty in Charlotte at BIG WAYS, Jacksonville at the famous WAPE "the Big Ape" where Tim still holds the record of night ratings, and Cleveland, Ohio.

Tim was the youngest Program Director in North Carolina when he programmed WAIR in Winston-Salem when he was 21. He hosted the first disco/dance hour long TV show on NBC owned and operated WKYC-TV in Cleveland.

Then, New York City called and “The Byrdman” flew. Tim enjoyed his 11 year stint in Manhattan at the city’s top stations WNBC (with Don Imus and Howard Stern) WPIX-FM, and HOT 97. He simultaneously did on-air time at VH-1 as one of the original VJ’s.

Tim made his acting debuted in the B movie “Ambulance” which also starred James Earl Jones, Janine Turner, Eric Roberts, and Red Buttons. Tim also hosted a weekly cutting edge dance music show on Voltage-FM in Paris, France. Tim Still does voice work business there now as well. He created VOXPOWER.com his voice-over company the does business with companies that need his unique talent and consulting abilities. On a national level he is represented by The William Morris Agency in Los Angeles.

The Byrdman’s other stops before South Florida include Washington D.C. at ABC’s MIX 107.3, and Phoenix, Arizona at POWER 92. In South Florida Tim has worked at two other staions.

Tim’s loves include sports, fashion, photography, the beach, people, helping charity organizations, and others too numerous to mention. The Byrdman will be doing more in front of the camera very soon, as projects are underway to showcase just one aspect of his many talents.

Autism is a serious probelem in our country today, it seems that more and more children suffer form this disease than ever before. I have friends who have children who are Autistic. This is a tough one folks. I am aware and sensitive to what goes on, and when i saw this i wanted to share it with as many people as possible. Maybe you can pass this on to folks that you think it might help.I was touched when i saw this. In some way, i hope this might help somebody somewhere. I always admire people who are in good shape and those who get back in shape in later years or after a baby.Halle who by the way was named after a very popular Cleveland, Ohio Department store HALLE'S
and is pronounced with a short A as in (hat). I get a kick out of people who think they are giving her name a more sophisticated twist by calling her Hall-e as in hall, that is not how she is known, those people just show their ignorance, or are just ill-informed. I give her thumbs up for getting back in incredible shape, and here she is...
